First National Industrial Hemp Seed Bank beingshown to people there

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Analysis Service (USDA-ARS) is opening the country’s very very first industrial hemp seed bank at Cornell University in Ny.

Senator Charles Schumer (D-NY) helped secure funding that is federal the USDA-ARS which will make this bank feasible, while additionally attempting to reduce federal restrictions that limit the freedom of US farmers to grow industrial hemp as being a commodity.

The USDA-ARS is going to work with Cornell University scientists, that are currently collaborating together on other plants. (more…)
